Frequently Asked Questions

Q:  Can you list our House on MLS or do you buy it?

A:  Great question.  We buy houses in and around Arlington, TX that meet our purchasing criteria.  We can sponsor the house at an off market auction or wholesale it, we can purchase outright or we could assist you in listing on MLS, our office manager is a Realtor.

Q:  Should I fix or repair House?

A:  Great Question.  No, my advice is not to touch it unless your an experienced General Contractor.  There’s a process to remodeling a house and everything comes out in the inspection.  We’ve seen complete remodels that have to be gutted and redone because of plumbing and electrical issues and code violations.

Q:  Do you pay fair prices for properties?

A:  The houses we purchase are below Retail market value.  Typically houses sold off market need attention.  These repairs can range from tens of thousands to six figures.  Holliday Properties is as competitive as possible to get the house sold, get you paid and get house back on market.

Q: How do you determine the price to offer on my house?

A:  Great Question, and we’re transparent.  Our process is very straightforward.  We look at the location, location within the neighborhood, evaluate repairs, run comps on houses sold in the area recently, run numbers based on current rates and then look at inflation to see which way rates are going.

Q: Are there any fees or commissions to work with you?

A:  There are NO FEES or commissions when you sell your house to us or allow us to wholesale it.

Q:  How are you different than a Real Estate Agent or Realtor?

A:  Real Estate Agents list properties on MLS.  Their fee is typically 6% seller and buyer fee and there are seller responsibilities such as closing costs and title fees typically another 3%.  Meaning on a $200,000 your paying $18,000 in fees on 250k your paying $22,500 in fees.  The process typically takes 90-120 days and you must allow for buyers due diligence such as appraisals and inspections.  Professional licensed inspectors go through every inch of house and property which then puts deal back into negotiations where buyer will want to leverage your time invested for a discount or monetary credits for damages found.

Q:  Is there any obligation when I submit my info?

A:  Great Question.  There’s no obligation to schedule your free property evaluation.  In fact we’d appreciate the opportunity to meet you and learn how we can be of assistance.  It’s what we do!
